Becky and Jack’s Wedding
For Becky and Jack’s wedding- a trip down to the south coast! They picked the picturesque Froginwell Vineyard in Exeter for their day and what a day it was. Blessed with September sunshine, the ceremony was held outside. No-one could believe their eyes when a small family of wild deer darted across us as the ceremony was taking place- David Attenborough’s photographer may have snapped them but this wedding photographer was too engrossed with the couple- blink and you’d missed them!
After the ceremony, excited hugs, handshakes and smiles filled every scene. The drinks started to flow and out came the lawn games whilst a live band played away in the background. Before long it was time for the speeches- there wasn’t a dry eye in the house as the father of the bride’s love for them both reduced him to tears.
After the meal everyone chilled in the evening sun around the fire pits whilst the dance floor was prepared, before participating in a ‘sparkler run’ for the happy couple- an effect I highly recommend if the circumstances are right! The live band moved inside and soon started up, much to the delight of some tipsy guests who were in the mood to party! People boogied away for a good hour or two whilst an incredible pizza van and ice cream vendor turned up outside. To finish the night off, the party went incognito with the introduction of a silent disco- if you’ve never seen one half of a silent dance floor perform the Macarena whilst the other half simultaneously rocks out to the Foo Fighters- you haven’t lived. An incredible day for Becky and Jack and a few sore heads the next morning I’m sure.
